About Us

Welcome to Lez Talk About It! Our vision for this podcast is simple: Community and Culture. Hosted by two lesbian mascs of color from Metro-Detroit, Camille and Emily. We want to create a safe space where we can discuss some of the topics we're most passionate about such as LGBTQ+ topics and events, specifically those relating to the lesbian community, women's sports, as well as highlighting some of our favorite people and places in Metro-Detroit. We hope to include local artists, small business owners, and non-profit organizations, the possibilites are endless. We hope to provide a safe and inclusive space for individuals to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives. Topics might range from exploring identity and coming out, to discussing the challenges and triumphs faced by lesbians in various cultural and social contexts, hosting guest speakers, sharing personal narratives, and engaging in thoughtful dialogue could empower listeners and foster a greater sense of community. Of course, we never take ourselves too seriously, we are ultimately two friends talking and we always want to have fun!
